Senate President, Bukola Saraki
Nigerians have reacted angrily to reports that members of the National Assembly will receive a wardrobe allowance of ₦8.64bn ($45m) over the course of the four-year term.
Nigerians have taken to social media platform, Twitter to express their disappointment and disgust at the whooping sum of money allegedly earmarked for clothing by the Red and Green Chambers.
Some even questioned the ‘Change’ widely preached by President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress. Here are some of the tweets making the round.
