Michy Batshuayi will not seek a loan move away from Chelsea in January, despite struggling to break into the side as Diego Costa maintains his excellent form.
Antonio Conte has had few injuries to worry about so far this season, which has restricted their £33 million signing to limited appearances off the bench in the Premier League and in cup competitions.
Ligue 1 side Marseille haven't contacted Batshuayi, but would welcome back their former player, while Goal sources say "Champions League clubs" in Italy are also monitoring his situation but have been told that a move in January is impossible.
Batshuayi is thought to be optimistic about his future at Chelsea and understanding over a lack of game time as Costa remains the Premier League's top scorer.
In his first season at Marseille, Batshuayi was faced with a similar situation that he finds himself in currently - the form of André-Pierre Gignac kept him out of action following his switch from Standard Liège.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have an offer to sell Oscar to Shanghai SIPG and are expected to accept a bid of around £60 million, with John Obi Mikel also likely to be sold after drawing interest from clubs in both Europe, including Marseille, and China.
