Leah’s father Nathaniel Sharibu has stated his household has not had any contact with the Federal Government since their daughter’s abduction.
Leah was kidnapped in February alongside over 100 women in Dapchi, however was not launched because of his refusal to disclaim her religion.
Nathaniel Sharibu informed Vanguard that, “No delegation has visited the household because the February 19 episode. Not even a phone name from anyone. Nobody has referred to as me.
“Right now, I am in Yola on official duty and the church I attend here held prayer sessions for my daughter just as our church in Dapchi did same.”
He also said that, “It could be very unhappy, I have to let you know. I had proposed to rearrange a befitting birthday party for her and her colleagues within the neighborhood however now we don’t even know her whereabouts. It’s so unhappy.
“Even those whose children were returned are very sad about my daughter’s absence. Though we are not of the same religion with them, they are just not happy and they are helping us in prayers too. They are doing their possible best through prayers to lift our burden.”
