Pep Guardiola caused a stir on social media once again on Tuesday morning with his response to criticism from English pundit and ex-player Stan Collymore.
A clip of the Manchester City coach that circulated widely on Twitter appeared to show him, in a state of confusion, asking who exactly the ex-Liverpool striker was.
It turns out, however, that Guardiola was bemused due to the fact he had misunderstood the question.
Collymore had written in his Daily Mirror column that Guardiola would go back to Spain "with his tail between his legs" if he did not teach his City players to tackle.
Guardiola, however, heard the question - asked in Spanish - as Collymore making the slightly confusing pledge that he himself would go back to Spain if that did not happen.
You can watch the exchange in full in the video above.
