Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie has blasted the act of men going on one knee to propose marriage to a woman.
The movie star believes this western tradition is not right and Igbos should not accept it.
According to him, it simply means the man is handing over authority to the woman and she instantly becomes the head of the family.

He added that the reverse should be the case because marriage in the Igbo tradition requires the lady to give her husband-to-be wine while kneeling on the ground.
