Swearing -in of 2017 NYSC Batch ‘A’ Stream II in Mangu, Plateau
The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has declared three days to mourn the death of nine corps members who drowned on Saturday in Taraba state.
Famzn News learned that the nine corps members were swimming during a picnic party when the incident occurred in River Mayo Celbe on Saturday.
The Taraba State NYSC coordinator, Florence Yaakugh, described the deaths as “most unfortunate.”
She said, “It is a very sad development and we would soon have the identity of all the corps members involved in the accident and make such information known appropriately.”
