Director, Strategic Communications of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 marketing campaign, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s assertion as a “childish prank”.
Obasanjo had on Friday claimed that Buhari’s authorities was planning to border him and consequently kill him by plotting his arrest on false expenses.
He stated a part of the plan was for the president to grab his International passport and clamp him into detention indefinitely.
Reacting on his Twitter web page, Keyamo stated Obasanjo was determined for consideration away from criticism of his failure to declare June 12 Democracy Day all through his eight years in energy.
He wrote: “Obasanjo’s outcry is for 2 causes: 1. To appeal to unearned sympathy to himself in an effort to deflect the harm the immortalisation of June 12 has achieved to his picture as the principle antagonist of Abiola’s mandate.
“2. To dampen the accolades going the way of PMB over the issue. It’s childish prank.”
