Juventus have signed Medhi Benatia on loan from Bayern Munich with the option of making the deal permanent in 2017.
The former Roma defender will spend the next year in Turin as the clubs agreed a €3 million fee for the temporary switch.
If Juve wish to make the deal permanent, they will have to meet a clause of €17 million by next May.
Benatia is no stranger to Serie A, having spent four years in Italy with Udinese and Roma.
The Morocco international spent two seasons at Bayern, who signed him for €26 million back in August 2014.
He made 46 appearances at the club under Pep Guardiola, scoring three goals.
Benatia becomes Juve's third completed signing of the transfer window, after bringing in Dani Alves from Barcelona and Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.r />
