Swansea City have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston for a club-record fee of £15.5 million.
The Spaniard has signed a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium and will wear the No.10 shirt vacated by Andre Ayew, who left to join West Ham for £20.5m earlier this month.
Borja, who scored 18 goals while on loan at La Liga outfit Eibar last season, has penned a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium and will link up with compariot and fellow new boy Fernando Llorente in south Wales.
The forward's arrival has surpassed the £12m capture of Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013, which was Swansea's previous record transfer.
It had been suggested that the Swans, who sold Bony to Manchester City in 2015, were keen to lure him back to the Liberty Stadium this summer prior to signing both Llorente and now Borja.
Borja has become Swansea's fifth signing of the summer following the earlier arrivals of Mark Birighitti, Leroy Fer, Mike van der Hoorn and Llorente.
