Okorocha's Son-in-Law Says Only God Can Stop His Governorship Ambition

Governor Rochas Okorocha and Son-In-Law Uche Nwosu

Uche Nwosu, son-in-law to Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has stated it is just God that may cease him from rising because the governor of the state in 2019.

Nwosu is below strain to not vie for the place as many see it a ploy to show the seat into a household property.

However, the Imo State Chief of Staff stated that he's not below any strain to botch his ambition.

“I am not under any kind of pressure to drop my governorship ambition. My aspiration is divine and God has approved that I will be the next governor of Imo State in 2019,” Okorocha advised Punch.

“The individuals who gathered collectively below the auspices of Imo APC allied drive are a group of those that we've got been defeating since 2011. We will defeat them once more in 2019. Their motion solely makes me change into stronger and prepared for the battle forward.

“Their action has made me more determined, psychologically and otherwise to get sworn in as the next governor of Imo State. For me, there is no viable opposition against my ambition. It is about transferring power to the younger generation.”

As said by him, “What they're telling me, by their emergency alliance, is that my governorship ambition has been signed, sealed and delivered to me. Nothing good comes straightforward. In politics, you don’t simply get the ability, you battle for it.

“Ifeanyi Araraume, Benjamin Uwajumogu, Jude Ejiogu, Osita Izunaso and Eze Madumere are fighting us as part of the political game which will come to an end when I, Uche Nwosu, am sworn in as the next governor of Imo State in 2019.”
