People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has come out to say that the victory of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at the Supreme Court is a victory for the people of Delta state.
According to Chief Sunny, the court’s ruling only echoes what the people wanted through their votes in the 2019 governorship election in the state.
He urged APC to be mature about the ruling and accept the judgment so the state can develop.
He added that Ifeanyi Okowa would definitely fasten the pace of development in Delta State now that his distractions are over.
His words, “Although Okowa had been performing creditably well despite the obstruction of the court cases, the Supreme Court ruling today has opened the road for the hard-working governor to perform excellently well in the development of Delta State.”
