Former presidential aide Doyin Okupe has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is crumbling following mass defections from the party.
More than 50 lawmakers defected from the party last week for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with the Senate President Bukola Saraki leaving on Wednesday.
All governor of Kwara State Abdulfatah Ahmed and 23 state lawmakers and the National Publicity Secretary of the APC Bolaji Abdullahi also left the ruling party this week.
While reacting to this, Okupe stated that the ruling party has crumbled.
“Finally, Finally, the APC COOKIE CRUMBLES!” he wrote in a tweet.
