Sen. Omo-Agege
A faction of the All Progressives Congress in Delta state led by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on Saturday held a parallel congress to elect the state working committee.
This comes regardless of the postponement of the congress by the party’s National Working Committee.
The NWC had knowledgeable the Independent National Electoral Commission of the postponement of the train until Monday.
But the Omo-Agege faction apparently had one thing else in thoughts.
Also in attendance on the congress, which happened on the St. Mulumba Primary/Secondary School, Okpanam, was four-time governorship candidate within the state Great Ogboru.
Reports say the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, is in help of this faction, as members had been mentioned to have described this growth as “a renewed effort to wrestle the structure from the 2015 governorship candidate of the party, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor.”
