Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has lauded the United States Consular General John Bray, over his visit to Ekiti State ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Bray was in the State to monitor the polls and went alongside Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State.
Reacting to the development, Omokri lamented that the alleged assault on Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, does not mean well for the nation.
“I commend the United States Con Gen @lagoscongen for visiting @GovAyoFayose to assess the brigandage unleashed on Ekiti by President Muhammadu Buhari,” Omokri posted on Twitter.
“I also celebrate the Ooni of Ife for expressing concern over goings on in Ekiti. What‘s happening in Ekiti doesn’t portend well for the 2019 elections.”
