Former Presidential New Media Reno Omokri has staged a protest to mark 200 Days Anniversary of Leah Sharibu’s abduction.
Sharibu was being held by terror group Boko Haram for refusing to renounce her Christian faith after she was kidnapped alongside more than 100 schoolgirls in February this year.
In a post on Twitter on Thursday, the United States-based pastor stated Boko Haram should release her immediately so that she can return to school.
Omokri also urged President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure her immediate release and not use her release to score cheap political point in 2019.
He wrote: “200 Days Anniversary of Leah Sharibu’s Abduction. I’m at Nigeria’s High Commission in London With @CSW For #FreeLeah”
