Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has wondered if there is a government in Nigeria especially with the rate of killings in different parts of the country.
Omokri was reacting to comments by Femi Adesina, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari where he (Adesina), seemingly justified the killings [due to clashes between herdsmen and farmers.]
Adesina had asked during a Channels TV programme,” the essence of saying you have an ancestral attachment to land [as the federal government plans to get ranches for herdsmen across the country], then you get killed at the end of the day?”
This did not go well with Omokri who took to social media to ask if Nigeria has a government.”
“I can’t believe @FemAdesina is justifying his comments that giving land is better than death,” Omokri posted on Twitter.
“Today, he was on @channelstv and said, “What is the essence of saying you have an ancestral attachment to land, then you get killed at the end of the day.” Does Nigeria have a government?”
