Opel's sub-compact SUV, the Mokka, which is sold under the Vauxhall brand in the UK, has turned out to be a popular choice, as no less than 500,000 orders have been placed since it was originally launched three years ago .
"People looking for a robust, compact SUV with a high level of functionality and best quality at affordable prices drive Opel Mokka", said the Opel Group VP Sales & Aftersales, Peter Christian Kuspert.
The subcompact SUV will get a facelift this year, with updated front and rear fascias, some tweaks made to the cabin and possibly, revised engines.
Its North American cousin, the Buick Encore, will get a similar suite of updates.
