Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has alleged that herds of cattle are being mobilized into the state to bring trigger more mayhem.

Ortom revealed this on Tuesday at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi when the Christian Elders’ Forum, Benue State chapter paid him a solidarity visit.

He alleged that the impeachment threat on him by the House of Assembly was championed by a leader of the All Progressives Congress in the State Senator George Akume.

As stated by him, the security apparatus in the state has been compromised by some politicians in the State.

As stated by the Governor, “It is worrisome for someone elected to legislate for the good governance of the country to resort to abating causes against the interest of his constituents.”
