Following the fire outbreak that occurred at Bovas Filling Station, Osogbo, the Osun state capital on Wednesday, the third child who was rescued alive has died at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital.
Two siblings had earlier died immediately as a result of the burns from the fire opposite the popular Osogbo Grammar School. If you missed the news earlier, click here.
Based on what was gathered, the mother is yet to be informed of the death of the third child whom she struggled to pull out of the raving inferno.
The incidence which couldn't be controlled by the firefighters due to logistic problems was said to have attracted attention of passersby who made spirited efforts to put out the fire and assist in rescuing the victims.
The remains of the kids were said to have been deposited at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Mortuary.
