For the first time since 1999, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief John Oyegun on Saturday had victory at his polling unit. Oyegun secured victory for the APC at his Unit One Ward Two polling unit in Oredo Local Government Area. The APC polled 54 votes to defeat the PDP who secured 48 votes at Unit One for the Oredo East Constituency seat in the Edo State House of Assembly. In unit two, the APC candidate, Osaigbovo Iyoha polled 49 votes to defeat the PDP candidates who scored 43 votes.
