Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday, organised special prayers for the former Special Adviser and Chairman Amnesty committee, Kingsley Kuku's quick recovery from a knee surgery in the United States of America where he is recuperating.
Chairman of the PDP in Eseodo Local Government Area of the state, Solomon Tunyan, who addressed the prayer session, urged them to intensify prayers for Kuku, so that he can recover within the shortest period of time.
He said the prayers became imperative in view of the development associated with Kuku’s health after he had undergone the operation.
Tunyan said Kuku’s absence had created a vacuum within and outside the party in the state, adding only prayers can bring him home safely.
He seized the occasion to laud party members in the council areas, and urged them to continue to work for the collective interest of the party.
He also commended the governor of the state, Olusegun Mimiko, on his efforts towards rebuilding the party in the country.
