In the three local governments so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Peoples Democratic Party leads. The local governments are – Akpabuyo, Calabar South and Calabar Municipality. The PDP polled 52, 009 votes, the All Progressive Congress 14, 857 votes and the Labour Party 6, 294.
