The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party is always reporting stories of the fake defection of APC members to its fold.
This was contained in a statement on Sunday by the party where it also challenged the PDP to drop its “antics of seeking a new coalition” and the “desperate shopping for members.”
According to the statement, the PDP should face the Nigerian electorate on its own merit ahead of the 2019 elections.
“What is clear with all these is that no matter how long a leopard lives, it cannot change its spots.” the statement noted.
“What President Muhammadu Buhari and Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, our National Chairman, are doing, persuading every aggrieved member not to leave the party, is what responsible and sensible party leaders would do.”
