The invitation by the newly-registered All Progressives Congress (APC) for President Goodluck Jonathan to join the party was on Wednesday described by the Presidency as an acknowledgment of his sterling leadership qualities, according to a statement by the ruling party PDP.
The statement also faulted APC leaders for forming a party only to realise later that they do not have a credible candidate.
