Peterborough United secured an FA Cup third round clash against Chelsea after beating Notts County in a second round replay.
Following a 2-2 draw in the original fixture, the home side wasted no time in surging into a two-goal lead inside the opening eight minutes.
First Gwion Edwards netted in the second minute before Paul Taylor doubled their lead as the League One side took a huge step towards victory.
County had the chance to pull a goal back before half-time, but former Blackburn Rovers striker Jon Stead missed from the penalty spot.
And the League One side were able to hold out to secure themselves a visit to Stamford Bridge on January 8.
