Borussia Dortmund will travel to Hannover 96 for their second game of their Bundesliga campaign, starting with a completely clean slate as former Hertha Berlin and Borussia Monchengladbach manager Lucien Favre took charge of Die Borussen.
New arrival Paco Alcacer is the talk of the town after joining from Barcelona on a season-long loan, adding to the tsunami of positivity being injected into the club at the moment as big things are expected from Dortmund this season.
Favre will be looking to keep the ball rolling for his side after storming past RB Leipzig 4-1 on Sunday, with the new additions to his side such as Axel Witsel, Abdou Diallo and Thomas Delaney proving to be most effective.
Here is a look at Borussia Dortmund's possible line up on Friday's clash again Hannover 96.
1. Goalkeepers and Defenders
Roman Burki (GK) - Yet to be truly tested in between the Dortmund sticks this season. The Swiss shot stopper looks to be Favre's number one and will be given the chance under him.
Lukasz Piszczek (RB) - Very much part of the new manager's plans, the respected Polish right-back was one of the most consistent performers for Die Borussen last season and is expected to perform at a similar level.
Manuel Akanji (CB) - Forming a budding partnership with his new French team mate, having played for his native Switzerland at all levels, the 23-year-old has buckets of potential lying in wait.
Abdou Diallo (CB) - Dortmund's £26m acquisition will provide strength in depth at the back for Lucien Favre, the Frenchman is expected to feature after a positive performance against RB Leipzig.
Marcel Schmelzer (LB) - The 30-year-old is about to embark on his ninth season at the club and is always one of the first players on the team sheet.
2. Midfielders
Axel Witsel (CM) - Scored on his debut and is four Belgium caps away from his century, a crucial part of the Dortmund side at present.
Thomas Delaney (CM) - Brought in from Werder Bremen after a good World Cup with Denmark, he is expected to start once again as the 26-year-old looks to bed into his new surroundings.
Mahmoud Dahoud (CM) - All eyes will be on the highly rated 22-year-old who scored on his debut last week. Don't be surprised to see the youngster on the scoreboard once again.
3. Forwards
Jadon Sancho (RW) - One of the very few English players playing his trade outside of the Premier League, Gareth Southgate will have an eye on the former Manchester City youngster as he looks get more game time.
Maximilian Philipp (ST) - Despite a quiet game against RB Leipzig, the German should be in the starting lineup again.
Marco Reus (LW) - A man-of-the-match performance got his side off to the best possible start and will be hungry for more. A no brainer.
