Cardiff City host Arsenal at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, as the Bluebirds search for their first win of the new season.
Having lost 2-0 to Bournemouth on the opening day of the season, Neil Warnock's side have now held their last two opponents to 0-0 draws - and are the only team in the top flight to have failed to score a goal so far in 2018/19.
The vastly experienced Warnock be under no illusions that his side face a very tough task in takings points away from Arsenal. However, he will be optimistic heading into the game after two very solid defensive displays.
Here is the best potential lineup Warnock could select for the big clash on Sunday afternoon.
3. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Neil Etheridge (GK) - He has been one of Cardiff's star players to start the season. Etheridge saved a penalty in the season opener against Bournemouth before repeating his penalty heroics in the 97th minute against Newcastle to help earn his side a point. Keeping three consecutive cleans sheets, it's a no-brainer who starts between the sticks.
Bruno Ecuele Manga (RB) - Having started the season as a centre back, Ecuele Manga has slotted in at right back for the last two games and has been effective in his new role. He's likely to keep the starting spot for Arsenal's visit.
Sean Morrison (CB) - He's been a leader in the heart of the back line, and the Bluebirds will need their captain Morrison to be in full voice come Sunday afternoon.
Sol Bamba (CB) - Backed by Warnock as better defensively than Virgil van Dijk, Bamba possesses great power and aerial ability as well as plenty of experience. He'll need to use as much of that experience as he can to hold Arsenal's attackers off.
Joe Bennett (RB) - Bennett looks to have made the left back spot his own this season and will be looking to keep Arsenal's right side of the field quiet.
2. Midfielders
Joe Ralls (CDM) - Ralls has adopted a deeper lying role in Cardiff's last two games where he has been very effective in limiting the opposition's attacking options. He will be hoping to keep up his good form against the Gunners this weekend.
Victor Camarasa (CM) - Having been a late summer addition to Warnock's squad, the midfielder has put in two solid performances against Newcastle and Huddersfield. However will face a much tougher test this Sunday.
Harry Arter (CM) - A player with plenty of Premier League experience playing with Bournemouth, Arter must use that experience, as well as his high energy and determination, to cause troubles for Unai Emery's side.
1. Forwards
Junior Hoilett (RW) - He faces a late rush to get fit in time for the game, but if Hoilett is fit the he's a must-start. A real nuisance for defenders down the wing and Arsenal will need to be on their best game to keep him quiet.
Kenneth Zohore (ST) - A glaring problem for Cardiff so far has been goals. They are yet to score a goal in their first three games and that pressure will ultimately fall on their lone striker Zohore. He'll be determined to silence his critics this weekend.
Josh Murphy (LW) - With Nathaniel Mendez-Laing sidelines for up to three months with injury, it now looks as though Josh Murphy will be handed the chance at the left wing role. He'll be keen to make an impact and show Warnock he's worthy of a place in the starting lineup.
