Cardiff City travel to the John Smith's Stadium to face Huddersfield in the Premier League on Saturday as Neil Warnock's side look to pick up their first win since returning to the top flight.
A 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle was a positive sign of progress for the Bluebirds following their opening day defeat to Bournemouth, though Cardiff will be hoping to add greater attacking impetus to that resolute performance last weekend.
Their opening day defeat away to Bournemouth suggests that Warnock's men may find things tougher on the road this season, and Cardiff will be looking to dispel any notion of away day blues as they travel to face David Wagner's side on Saturday.
Warnock will be inclined to stick with much of the same from the positive performance last weekend, but will be hoping to see his men take the game to the opposition with greater force.
1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Neil Etheridge (GK) - Following an outstanding performance which inspired a clean sheet for his side against Newcastle last weekend, including saving a last-ditch penalty from Kenedy, Etheridge's confidence should be sky high.
Bruno Ecuele Manga (RB) - Shifted to right back in the side that shut out Newcastle last weekend, having played in the centre of defence as his side lost to Bournemouth on the opening weekend, Manga should have done enough to hold onto his place.
Sean Morrison (CB) - Having featured at centre half in each of Cardiff's matches so far, captain Morrison offers stability and consistency at the heart of defence for the Bluebirds, and will be tasked with keeping Steve Mounie quiet on Saturday.
Sol Bamba (CB) - Offering an experienced head and a good deal of power to the defensive ranks, Bamba was utilised in defensive midfield with lesser success against Bournemouth before being shifted to the centre of defence to greater effect as his side kept a clean sheet last weekend.
Joe Bennett (LB) - A reliable performer at left back, Bennett has featured in both games for Cardiff so far this season and looks to be one of the Bluebirds' most dependable figures for the season ahead.
2. Midfielders
Victor Camarasa (CM) - A late summer addition signed on loan from Real Betis, Camarasa was an unused substitute during the opening day defeat to Bournemouth but was thrust into the starting XI to positive effect against Newcastle last week and can be expected to keep his place on Saturday.
Joe Ralls (CM) - The only central midfielder to have featured in each of Cardiff's two matches so far this season, Ralls is a figure of consistency and dependability in Neil Warnock's midfield and will surely maintain his place as the anchor in the middle of the park against Huddersfield.
Harry Arter (CM) - A positive loan signing from Bournemouth during the summer, Arter was ineligible to play against his parent club for the first match of the season but was drafted into the Cardiff side last weekend and added his usual brand of energy and industry which could be an important asset for the Bluebirds this season.
3. Forwards
Junior Hoilett (RW) - Though he picked up a knock during last weekend's draw with Newcastle and is a fitness concern for this weekend, Hoilett is expected to be passed fit to face Huddersfield and could be a key figure in unlocking the Terriers' defence with his pace and power.
Kenneth Zohore (ST) - Having missed out on the opening game against Bournemouth, Zohore returned to the side against Newcastle last weekend and should lead the line once again against a side which he scored past the last time the two sides met in the Championship. With Cardiff having failed to register a goal in their first two games of the season, the onus is on Zohore to give his side lift off in the Premier League.
Josh Murphy (LW) - Brought on as a substitute to give his side added attacking impetus against Bournemouth on the opening weekend before starting against Newcastle last week, Cardiff look a more dangerous team when Murphy is in the side, and he can be expected to keep his place against Huddersfield.
