The Police have arrested one Ekene Ugwu, in connection with the gruesome killing of a taxicab driver, identified as Anthony Sunday Nnamani in Enugu State.
The suspect was arrested by men of Udenu Division of Enugu State Police Command who acted on information and partnership with members of the public.
As stated by reports, the suspect had hired the cab driver to convey him to a destination, but in the course of the journey, the suspect was said to have brought out a cutlass and slashed the driver’s throat. Some said that the suspect wanted to snatch the taxi, a Toyota Camry.
