Police Corporal Rapes Seven-Year-Old Girl In Kano

Kano State Police Command has arrested a serving police corporal, Sani Salisu, for raping a seven-yea-old girl at a Brigade Quarters in the state. As stated by an eyewitness, the police officer lured the teenager into a kiosk located at Mangoron Mahauta in the Brigade Quarters and had a carnal knowledge of her. The Command spokesman, Musa Magaji Majia, confirmed the policeman's arrest. Majia said on today (01/05/15) that the state's police Commissioner, Ibrahim Idris, has directed the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation, adding that the public will be informed of any further development on the case.
