A professional-democracy and non-profit organization has mentioned President Muhammadu Buhari will lead the 2018 version of Democracy Solidarity Walk in Abuja.
The organization, National Democracy Stakeholders Group (NSDG), mentioned on Sunday that the stroll would even be led by governors within the 36 state capitals throughout Nigeria.
Convener of the group Kletsaint Akor says the stroll is scheduled for May 29 on the Eagles Square.
According to Akor, the stroll, which is the fourth version with the theme “Walk for Credible, Free and Fair 2019 Elections”, is anticipated to draw over 1 million individuals nationwide.
“The 2018 edition of the annual Democracy Solidarity Walk will be led by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja and the governors in each of the 36 states,” he mentioned.
“It is anticipated to attract participation from all Nigerian democracy stakeholders, together with representatives of the Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC), Trade Union Congress(TUC), political events, National Orientation Agency, aspirants to elective political places of work.
