As stated by reports, Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan can't control his wife, Patience.
Amaechi, who was responding to a call by former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha asking him (Amaechi) to beg Jonathan and return to the PDP, said Alamieyeseigha told him that Jonathan is too weak to control Patience Jonathan.
He insisted that his disagreements with Jonathan are based on principles and the interests of Rivers State.
He said he does not consider his decision to stay with his people and fight for what is theirs as disrespect to the Jonathan or desecration to the office of the President.
He added that Rivers State gave Jonathan over two million votes at the 2011 elections with nothing to show for it after almost four years.
