The fire incident that occurred at the Abuja home of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, early Friday morning has been attributed to a spark in the Air Condition attached to his private room.
This was disclosed by a media aide to the Senate President, Mr Yusuf Olaniyonu.
As stated by Olaniyan who replied via a text message, ‘‘It was not a big incident as it was immediately contained by the security men in the house and the fire service men who were promptly invited.”
He further stated that ‘‘the fire did not spread beyond the gym” stressing that ‘’it happened when the Senate President was in his office in the Senate receiving a delegation of Blackstone Group accompanied by Emir of Kano and Aliko Dangote.”
