Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodrguez eased Real Madrid into the quarter-finals of the Champions League despite a difficult night against Roma.
Trailing 2-0 from the first leg, Luciano Spalletti's side missed a host of chances to get back into the tie, with Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah particularly culpable.
And the Serie A outfit were made to pay as first Ronaldo volleyed home Lucas Vazquez's cross from close range before James sealed victory by beating Wojciech Szczesny at his near post following Ronaldo's through-ball.
