Former Presidential New Media aide Reno Omokri has lambasted the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for attacking opposing politicians.
Concise had reported that the Abuja homes of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, was surrounded by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and men of the Nigerian police.
The security operatives arrived in the early hours of Tuesday.
Concise also reported that the Chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (r-APC) Buba Galadima alongside his son and two others survived a car accident.
It was gathered that the incident took place as Galadima was returning from Yobe State where he had gone to condole with his brother who lost his daughter.
In a post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, Omokri accused the Presidency coordinating Galadima’s car accident.
Omokri wrote: “What is happening to Bukola Saraki is an act of tyranny by a leadership afraid of its own shadows.
“You cant lay siege on the nation’s number 3 citizen as if he is a common criminal just to frustrate the suspected defection of people whose defection from PDP you celebrated!
“The strange car accident of the r-APC chairman yesterday and the sieges on prominent members of that APC faction today appears too coordinated.
“Though I have no proof, but this coincidences are too convenient for President Muhammadu Buhari whose desperation for power is already well known!”
