Justice Olamide Oloyode (retd) has begun mobilizing Nigerians to support musician Yinka Ayefele rebuild his demolished N800m music house.
The building was demolished on Sunday by the government of Oyo State for defying urban and regional town planning laws of the state.
Famzn News recalls that Ayefele had said he has filed a case on the matter before the demolition, saying he is in pains.
However, Oloyode, who is the Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Osun State, said he would build a better structure for the ace musician.
“Gentlemen and ladies, it has come to my attention that the building housing Fresh FM, the business of our music maestro, Yinka Ayefele, has just been demolished,” Oloyede said in a statement.
“May I respectfully request that we all come to his aide by providing the wherewithal to put up a new structure of his desire as a legacy to Nigerians’ right to freedom of expression.
“Nothing is too little, lets jointly ensure that the glory of the latter house is greater than that which was demolished.”
