The Croatian completed a move worth a reported £33 million when he left Tottenham in 2012 and earned a €1m pay rise and had a €500m buyout clause upon joining the Spanish side
Luka Modric is the latest under the spotlight from Football Leaks after his first contract with Real Madrid was posted online.
The deal, dated August 27, 2012, when he left Tottenham, was a five-year contract and included a pay rise of nearly €1 million that kicked in after his first season and adds a staggering €500m buyout clause.
Modric was lured away from Tottenham after months of speculation, with Real Madrid eventually agreeing to reportedly pay upwards of £33 million for the Croatian.
Modric has since extended this stay at Santiago Bernabeu, penning a new four-year deal in 2014, and is the latest Madrid star to have details of financial agreements leaked by the whistleblowing website.
Gareth Bale's world-record transfer, also from Tottenham, was revealed by Football Leaks and a lucrative advert deal with Cristiano Ronaldo was detailed online shortly afterwards.
