Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Femi Fani-Kayode
Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has mentioned the time was proper for Yorubas to get Oduduwa Republic.
In a collection of tweets, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain famous that the killings by suspected herdsmen was an indication that Yorubas should name for secession.
Fani-Kayode wrote: “Any Fulani man that refuses to brazenly and unequivocally condemn the slaughter, ethnic cleaning and mass homicide of Middle Belters, southerners and different Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen is not any pal of mine. As a matter of truth such a particular person is a mortal enemy.
“Thank God that I'm Yoruba. I used to be born Yoruba and I'll die Yoruba. ‘Omo karo jire ni mi!’ And with the way in which issues are getting in Nigeria, I believe that it's about time for the Yoruba to train their proper of self-determination and think about the institution of Oduduwa Republic.
“We cannot remain in a country where the President encourages and supports mass murder, genocide, and ethnic cleansing, where he says “no” to restructuring and the place the lifetime of a cow is price greater than the lifetime of a human being. There is not any fellowship between mild and darkness!”
