RingCentral Office Google Edition bundle, with Google Apps and Hangouts, will become available in July for $30 per user per month.

Enterprise voice IP provider RingCentral said June 22 it is branching out by bringing customers a new unified communications bundle that combines Google Apps and Google Hangouts with RingCentral Office. The RingCentral Office Google Edition bundle will become available in July for $30 per user per month, the company said. The offering includes Google Apps Unlimited with unlimited storage and a new edition of RingCentral Office that integrates directly with Google Apps and Google Hangouts. The bundle is designed to provide richer and more robust enterprise communication solutions compared to competing industry offerings, such as Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business.Existing Google customers can add the RingCentral tier for $20 per user per month and use their Google credentials to log into RingCentral using single sign-on. The ability to make calls directly from Google Apps enables enterprises to spend more time communicating with customers and less time toggling between apps, dialing, and recording all types of communications into the profile. Additionally, it eliminates the need for customers to use a separate communications application. "Google has succeeded in many, many areas, and now they too are going after the enterprise, and they are doing so with a best-of-breed cloud solution. We're a big part of that," Richard Borenstein, senior vice president of Business Development at RingCentral, told Channel Partners.Borenstein said RingCentral's size and its open-API platform make it an ideal candidate for Google."What we're seeing is, together, Google and RingCentral can bring best-of-breed that can make customers happy," he said. The bundle will be sold at first through channel partners; Agosto has signed up as the first one. Agosto is a premier Google for Work partner, specializing in helping businesses migrate to the cloud.A new tier of RingCentral with WebRTC has been developed for this bundle, which is purpose-built for Google, integrated with Hangouts, Gmail, Drive, Chrome, and Android.RingCentral for Google is a plug-in available now from the Google Apps Marketplace, where there have been nearly 200,000 installs since it was first made available in February 2015.For more information, go here.
