Katie Ledecky continued her Olympic greatness with another gold medal on Tuesday.
This time she won the 200-meter freestyle in a time of 1:53.73. Sweden’s Sarah Sjorstrom finished just behind her to win silver with a time of 1:54.08.
The 19-year-old won her first gold of the Rio Games on Sunday after breaking her own world record in the 400-meter freestyle. She finished in 3:56.46, about two seconds faster than the record she set in 2014.
Ledecky now has a total of four Olympic medals. She won a silver as part of the 4x100-meter freestyle relay team on Saturday. At 15, she took home her first career Olympic gold medal with a time of 8:14.6 in the 800-meter freestyle at the London Games in 2012.
