The three-time world all-around champion has finally won an individual all-around gold medal at the Olympics.
Superstar gymnast Simone Biles became the fourth consecutive U.S. woman to win gold in the all-around and fifth all-time with a score of 62.198 on Thursday at the Rio Olympics.
Teammate Aly Raisman earned the silver medal with a score of 60.098. They’re the first pair of Americans to medal in the all-around in the same Games.
Gabby Douglas, another member of the “Final Five,” who won gold in the team competition on Tuesday, won all-around gold in London in 2012.
Nastia Liukin, Carly Patterson and Mary Lou Retton are the other American women to win all-around gold.
