The Court of Appeal in Abuja yesterday, turned down a request by the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside, to reinstate all paragraphs containing allegations of electoral crime against named and un-named security agents and alleged political thugs in an interlocutory appeal filed against the ruling of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal expunging the same from the tribunal's record.
Accordingly, the appellate court finally expunged from judicial records of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal all the said evidences.
