Defender Chris Smalling, who is no stranger to brawls having been a Judo champion as a teenager, has picked out the Red Devils stars most likely to have your back in a fight
On skipper Rooney's omission, he explained: "[The Phil Bardsley KO] lowered his reputation a little bit so he might be third.
"But I think the South American two, the duo, are up there, and then Wazza can come in slowly behind."
Smalling did throw one curveball into the discussion, though, claiming that Louis van Gaal could give Romero, Rojo and Rooney a run for their money.
"He might even challenge me!" laughed Smalling. "He's a big guy as well so I'm sure he can handle himself." Asked if Van Gaal could overpower him on the Judo mat, he joked: "He might!"
United and Smalling were denied a 13th Premier League clean sheet of the season at the weekend, conceding late on to Chelsea striker Diego Costa, but have now lost just once in their last seven outings.
