Ronaldinho has insisted his playing career is not over and says he aims to find a new club later this year.
The 36-year-old has been without a team since leaving Fluminense last September following spells with Atletico Mineiro and Mexican side Queretaro.
But the 2005 Ballon d’Or winner, who has been linked with clubs in Major League Soccer and the Chinese Super League, has no plans to retire.
"At the moment I'm only getting involved in [promotional] events but in the second half of the year you can be sure that I'm going to play again," Ronaldinho told reporters in Sao Paulo on Thursday.
A Champions League winner with Barcelona in 2006, Ronaldinho has not played in Europe since 2011, when he finished a three-year spell with AC Milan.
