Ronaldo believes Zinedine Zidane is the best he’s ever played alongside and claims his former team-mate has made Real Madrid “more elegant”.
Ronaldo spent four seasons alongside Zidane at Madrid and helped guide the club to the La Liga title in 2003.
“He is the best player I've known and best I’ve played with,” Ronaldo told Canal+.
“He makes Real even more elegant, like his philosophy and his style of play. He did a good job and I will be at the Bernabeu to cheer him on Wednesday for the match against Manchester City."
Ronaldo also believes that Neymar will remain at Barcelona amid reports linking him with a move away from the Spanish champions this summer.
"I don't think that Neymar will leave, he will stay at Barca,” said the two-time World Cup winner.
“He is well suited to the city and the team. I don't believe this transfer can actually happen.”...
