Alex Song's time as a Barcelona player is at an end as he nears a permanent move to Rubin Kazan, reports Sport.
The former Arsenal midfielder has been sent out on loan to West Ham for the last two seasons after falling out of favour at Camp Nou but the Hammers have passed on bringing him back permanently.
With his contract with the Catalan giants up in 2017 and no chance of fighting back into the first-team reckoning, a deal has been agreed in principle for Song to join the Russian club for an undisclosed fee.
