The Bernabeu side are not convinced that the Frenchman is a long-term solution to their coaching problems but have not made contact with any potential appointments just yet
Real Madrid are already looking for alternatives to Zinedine Zidane, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is being eyed up for the role at the Bernabeu.
Zidane took the reigns on a caretaker basis following the sacking of Rafa Benitez earlier this season, but while the Frenchman has steadied the ship, progress has not been spectacular and Madrid are already thought to be out of title contention.
As a result, Florentino Perez is looking for a more experienced option and sees Allegri as a potential solution, having been impressed by the Juve side that knocked Los Blancos out of the Champions League last season.
While discussions between the parties have not begun, the Italian champions are aware of Madrid’s interest and are ready to double Allegri’s salary and offer him a deal that will run until 2018 to fend off the interest.
