Arsenal are prepared to offer Olivier Giroud to Napoli in an attempt to land Gonzalo Higuain this summer, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger sees the Argentina international as a fine addition to his attack, but has balked as Napoli's valuation of the striker, who scored 36 goals in Serie A last term.
Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri was in the Stade de France to watch Giroud in the Euro 2016 final, and the 29-year-old may be used as a makeweight to convince the southern Italians to release Higuain.
