The Spanish champions are continuing to monitor the Algeria international, who has moved above Marco Reus on their summer shortlist
Barcelona have stepped up their efforts to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to The Sun.
The report claims that Luis Enrique has told the Barca hierarchy that the Algeria international should be one of their priority targets this summer, and is now ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus on their shortlist.
It’s also claimed that the Spanish champions are preparing a £15 million move, while the winger has been constantly monitored by scouts this season.
