The former Manchester United striker has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, but Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen to sign the Mexico international this summer
Bayern Munich could enter the race to sign Javier Hernandez this summer, according to fichajes.net.
Hernandez has been in impressive form since joining Bayer Leverkusen last summer and has scored 21 goals so far this season.
Carlo Ancelotti, who will replace Pep Guardiola this summer, coached the striker while he was on loan from Manchester United at Real Madrid and has reportedly asked Bayern directors to prepare a move for the Mexico international.
Hernandez is also said to have fond memories of working with Ancelotti, who gave him a chance at Madrid when he could not break into the United first team.
